Our Welcome Center is moving to a new location on Saturday, July 27th! With all of the new additions along River Islands Parkway, it’s no surprise that the Welcome Center is getting ready for its own re-opening, at the corner of River Islands Parkway and Somerston Parkway.
We’re celebrating the new address of our favorite community hub, and you’re invited! Festivities will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the wraparound porch of the new Welcome Center, with hot dogs and refreshments served for snacking.
Not only will attendees get to enjoy BBQ faves and take a tour of the new facility, but there will also be an opportunity to enter a raffle to WIN tickets to games at Islanders Field this summer! Radio station KPIQ will also be at the Welcome Center Grand Opening with a live DJ.
Guests are invited to stop by and see the Welcome Center in its new home in the Town Center area of River Islands. Chat with our Welcome Center specialists to learn all about what’s new at River Islands, and our friendly Welcome Center Specialists will be ready to answer any questions you have, and direct you to any of the neighborhoods in the community.
If you can’t make it to the event on July 27th, our new Welcome Center will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.! If you stop by the farmers market on Wednesday nights, why not pick up dinner and come enjoy it on the porch? This is one of our favorite spots to lounge, dine, study, and catch up with neighbors.
